There’s no better way to start your day than with yummy breakfast muffins.  
Unfortunately, most traditional muffin recipes are high in carbs and sugar and leave you with a mid-afternoon energy slump that’s hard to overcome. 
If you’re looking for a simple and delicious low carb breakfast recipe that won’t stall your fat loss or leave you in a sugar coma, look no further than these Chocolate Protein Muffins!

  1. • 3 large eggs
  2. • 1/2 cup almond milk or water
  3. • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  4. • 1 cup almond flour
  5. • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  6. • 1/4 cup unsweetened or dark cocoa powder
  7. • 1/4 cup Swerve Sweetener
  8. • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  9. • 2 tsp baking powder
  10. • 1/4 tsp salt
  11. • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  12. • coconut oil spray (for muffin liners)
  13. • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips, chopped nuts (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 325F and line 9 muffin cups with muffin liners that have been sprayed well.
  2. Add add eggs, almond milk and vanilla extract to your high powdered blender.
  3. Slowly blend in almond flour, coconut flour, cocoa powder, sweetener, baking powder and salt.
  4. Blend until smooth
  5. Add optional chocolate chips or chopped nuts if you’d like.
  6. Pour batter into muffin tin.
  7. Bake 20- 22 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool and enjoy!
