Now that warm weather has come our way, I’ve been adding lots of cool and refreshing low carb smoothies into my daily nutrition routine. These low carb smoothies are also low-calorie and are great as a post-workout or mid-day snack. Full of fresh fruit and plenty of protein – you could even try one for breakfast!  
 
The protein + fiber in these low carb smoothies will help balance hunger, energy and cravings and will keep you burning fat all day long!

Fresh Ginger is great to soothe digestion, heartburn, nausea, and other stomach trouble! This is a natural remedy you’ll love.

 

Low Carb Banana Ginger Smoothie

Ingredients
  1. 1 banana, sliced and frozen
  2. ¾ C plain greek yogurt
  3. 1 T sugar free honey sub
  4. ½ t freshly grated ginger
  5. 1 scoop protein powder of your choice
Instructions
  1. Mix all of the above ingredients in a high powdered blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour and enjoy!

Green Tea, Blueberry, and Banana Smoothie
Serves 2

Ingredients
  1. 3 T water
  2. 1 green tea bag
  3. 2 t sugar free honey sub
  4. 1½ C frozen blueberries
  5. ½ med banana - frozen
  6. ¾ C unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  7. 1 scoop protein powder of your choice
Instructions
  1. Brew tea bag for 2 minutes in water.
  2. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Mix all of the above ingredients in a high powdered blender until smooth.
  4. Pour and enjoy!

  4. 1½ T sugar free honey sub

  6. 1 t ground flaxseed
  7. 2 t fresh lemon juice
  8. 2 scoops protein powder of your choice
