{Recipe} Iced Mocha Protein Pick Me Up

Lately, I have REALLY gotten into iced coffee.

And I’ve pretty much decided that I like iced coffee better than hot coffee – especially this time of year. So why not embrace my new found love and incorporate that into my 3pm afternoon snack? (Which is usually a protein shake at work)

So I give you… The Iced Mocha Protein Pick Me Up!

It will keep your hunger/cravings in check, provide a tasty afternoon treat (it really does taste like I’m cheating), give you plenty of protein, and even give you a little afternoon caffeine kick that you might need to get through the rest of your day!

The best part? It couldn’t be simpler to make!

BeyondFit’s Iced Mocha Protein Pick Me Up

Ingredients:

– 8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk
– 1 tsp stevia
– 1-2 tsp unsweetened coco powder
– 4-8oz hot and fresh coffee
– 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients to your protein shake cup (I swear by the Blender Bottles – that way a few shakes before drinking mixes everything up and there’s no nasty sediment at the bottom)
2. Shake to mix
3. Stick in fridge that morning to let cool
4. Shake again before drinking once all ingredients are nice and cold.

Seriously. It’s that easy!!! I’ve been on this protein shake for about a month now, and it is seriously the most looked forward to moment of the day! I hope you ladies enjoy it!!
