When I met Lisa Black I was immediately inspired.
Lisa’s Story (Can you believe she’s a GRANDMA?!):
After I got married and had children, I let my busy schedule get the best of me, I was taken care of everyone but myself and we all know that does not make for a happy mommy! That is why I created Fit Balanced Body. I have a huge passion, for helping busy moms of all ages find their way to live a fit balanced life.
I believe that it starts with us moms. When we are happy so are they, whatever we cook they will eat, if we make time for exercise so will they.
We are our children’s best teacher.
So, you don’t think you have time to cook a healthy dinner? Sure you do.. Put a lean protein in the crock pot before you leave for work, come home take off your shoes boil up some rice and through a bag veggies in the microwave, wash up and In 10 min. you have a great fat loss friendly meal Or sometimes, I prep dinners on Sunday and Wed. And then just microwave them when I get home. Do what works for you.
Those days of staying in the gym for hours are long gone- we don’t have time for that!
You can do a workout at home while your kids are in bed, napping or have them join you if they are old enough. They love it.
I know when my grand kids come over and I am working out they come straight downstairs, my 7 year old granddaughter grabs the 3 lb weights and she does whatever it is I am doing and my 5 year old grandson starts doing jump in jacks.
My daughter and I sprint together, she usually beats me but It is a fun way to bond with your kids and all get in some great workouts in 20 -30 min.
Remember; you’re as old as you make your mind up to be-you can take control of your health at any age.
It can be done and we are here to help you every step of the way….
