Pregnancy Chalkboard: 11 Weeks

In case you missed it last time around, when we found out we were expecting “Baby H” we had lots of fun tracking my “baby bump progress.”  

Now that we’re expecting the 2nd Baby H, it’s time to dust off the chalkboard and get ready to watch the growing belly… 🙂

Pregnancy Chalkboard 11 weeks


How far along? 11 Weeks, 2 Days

Maternity clothes?  I survived my pregnancy with Jackson without any maternity pants (leg gins & the bella band were my best friend).  But we’ll see how long I last this time around… my belly is already popping out!  Much quicker than my first pregnancy!  As of right now, yoga pants are my BFF.  

Best moment this week: Dusting off the chalkboard & drawing the update- WITH JACKSON!  It was so much fun to think back to this time 2 years ago when we started the baby bump updates with him in my belly.  I can’t believe how quickly time has gone.  I love his smile in this photo.  I can’t wait to meet our little one and to see Jman as a big brother. 

Miss Anything?  ENERGY!  The first trimester energy zap hit hard!  I don’t think I truly appreciated how nice it was to be able to SIT while pregnant with Jackson.  Now that I’m growing the 2nd baby H AND am busy chasing around our active little toddler… energy is hard to come by- and sitting isn’t an option.  

Movement: Not yet- but can’t wait!

Food cravings: Cheeeeese (on everything), lots and lots of fruit (strawberries, raspberries & blueberries- oh my!), and pizza!  I think I’ve made a protein packed pizza every day for at least the last two weeks. 

Looking forward to: Finding out the gender! Pink or blue?! My morning sickness has been a bit worse this time around, so everyone is saying we may have a little miss on our hands. But you never know!  We’ll rejoice either way- just praying for a healthy, happy baby!
