The holidays are over and 2013 has arrived. Two weeks into the new year and the optimism of a new year is still fresh in everyone’s minds…
A new year with new opportunities for meeting your fitness goals is upon us. However, one of the main issues with finally seeing results and actually MEETING your goals is STICKING with them!
Enter the age-old adage: Consistency is key.
Consistency IS key, and an absolute requirement, for sticking with and meeting any goal you set for yourself. Seems easy enough right? Well, yes and no.
Consistency requires patience and tolerance for schedules.
This is something that I’m still working on myself – ask anyone close to me and they’ll tell you that I’ve always been one to have a lack of patience and an urge for impulsivity! Needless to say, I’ve learned the hard way when it comes to consistency and fitness.
However, something that I have learned through all of my trials and errors is that if you want to see result, then day-in and day-out you have to follow your workout schedule, adhere to your meal plan and drink your H20.
Bottom-line, consistency in fitness can be hard but is 100% necessary if you want to see results! 🙂
